Julie Foudy

Julie is an American retired soccer midfielder, two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion and two time Olympic gold medalist. The former captain played for the United States women's national soccer team from 1987–2004.  She co-founded the Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy, an organization focused on unleashing leadership skills in teenage girls. In 2007, she was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame with her teammate, Mia Hamm. Julie is currently an analyst, reporter and podcast host for ESPN. Julie was born and raised in Southern California and now lives with her family in San Clemente, CA.
