Angel City Football Club, Los Angeles' pioneering professional women's soccer team, is set to host the second annual Angel City Equity Summit, furthering its commitment to meaningful conversations and actionable change for gender equity in sports and beyond. The invite-only Summit will take place in the heart of Paris on July 29, 2024.

Supported by many of the club’s foundational partners, including BMO, Gatorade, Hubspot, NYX Professional Makeup, and The Grand, ACFC will again unite a diverse group of thought leaders and changemakers from the worlds of sports, entertainment, and business. Attendees will engage in dynamic discussions, share experiences, participate in intimate “talking circles”, and explore effective pathways toward pay equity and inclusive practices in the industry.

The Equity Summit is programmed as a collaborative and thought-provoking meeting of minds rather than a conventional conference, allowing for candid conversations and the sharing of innovative ideas. ACFC’s official leadership coaching partner, The Grand, will also facilitate leadership conversations that will further drive meaningful connections at the Summit. Angel City co-founders Natalie Portman, Julie Uhrman, and Kara Nortman, along with 100 other leaders, will delve into the challenges and opportunities surrounding gender equity, pay equity, media rights and exposure to women’s sports, and more to inspire lasting impact within and beyond the sports arena.

"Angel City has always led with purpose, setting new standards for gender equity in sports," said ACFC Co-Founder and President Julie Uhrman. “Our Equity Summit has again garnered phenomenal support from several of our partners—BMO, Gatorade, Hubspot, NYX Professional Makeup, and The Grand. Their commitment reflects their dedication to equality and amplifies the impact of our collective efforts. Additionally, we are thrilled to collaborate with The Female Quotient as our media partner to amplify our Summit across their community and digital channels.”

As with all Angel City partnerships, the club will reallocate 10% of all Equity Summit sponsorship dollars to an organization to be announced soon.

MKTG Sports + Entertainment UK will be producing the event, and additional speakers and panelists will be shared at a later date.
