LOS ANGELES (August 18, 2026) - Angel City Football Club (ACFC) announced today that the club has transferred 19-year-old forward Casey Phair to Feyenoord Rotterdam of the Eredivisie Vrouwen (Women’s) league in the Netherlands for an undisclosed fee.
“We thank Casey for her contributions to Angel City and hope this isn't the last time she represents our club,” said ACFC Sporting Director Mark Parsons. “She is a promising talent with an opportunity to play maximum minutes ahead of next summer’s World Cup, and we fully support this next step in her career. We wish Casey all the best and have full confidence in her future success.”
Phair joined Angel City in January 2024 through the NWSL U-18 Entry Mechanism, becoming the youngest player signed in club history at 16. She made her professional debut during ACFC’s 2–0 victory over Bay FC in the 2024 Summer Cup.
On April 18, 2025, Phair became the second-youngest player in club history to make her NWSL regular-season debut at 17 years and 10 months. She spent the second half of the 2025 season on loan with Swedish club Djurgårdens IF before returning to Angel City for the 2026 season.
This season, Phair appeared in eight matches and recorded 211 minutes for Angel City. On May 20, she earned her first career NWSL start in ACFC’s 2-1 victory over Kansas City Current.
Internationally, Phair represents the senior South Korea Women’s National Team. She became the youngest player to make a FIFA World Cup debut when she appeared in South Korea’s opening match of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup at 16 years and 26 days old. She is also the first Korean American to be called up to the senior South Korean Women’s National Team.
Before joining the senior national team, Phair competed with South Korea at the U17 level, scoring five goals in two matches, including a hat trick against Hong Kong during qualification for the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup.
