Description: 
Nonprofits and social impact organizations are operating in one of the most complex risk environments we’ve seen in years,  one where regulatory scrutiny, political pressure, and economic volatility directly impact funding strategies and mission-driven work. Organizations today need a strong, flexible, and proactive approach to risk management that not only protects them but also allows them to lean into their values while maintaining a defensible position.

In this workshop, we will hold a high-level discussion on:

• Key risk areas for nonprofit & philanthropic organizations: financial, regulatory & compliance, reputational, mission, and operational
• Risk tolerance and appetite
• A process to manage risks

You will walk away from this workshop with a basic understanding of what risks could impact your organization and a simple framework for assessing and managing these risks.
