About the Event
DENA Heals and Angel City Football Club are partnering to host a special community support day for families affected by the Eaton fire disaster in Los Angeles County. This event will provide affected families with access to:
- A private shopping experience in the DENA Heals Mutual Aid Marketplace
- Essential services provided by ACFC partners
- Family and children's activities
- Free giveaways from Angel City FC
Parking: Enter at Colorado & Euclid; First 90-minutes free parking available with DENA Heals validation
Why We Need YouYour help is crucial to making this event a success! As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive environment for families who have experienced displacement and loss. Volunteers will assist with check-in, marketplace operations, activity supervision, service coordination, and more.
How to Get Involved
Please complete this form to express your interest in volunteering. No specialized experience is required – just a willingness to help and a compassionate spirit! Once confirmed, you’ll receive a “Know Before You Go” one-pager with everything you need to know about the event and how to prepare.
Volunteer Shifts:
Morning/Setup: 8AM - 11AM
Tasks may include, but not limited to:
- Clean-up duties at the Marketplace and/or Wellness Center
- Event set-up (tables, chairs, etc)
- Partner/Service Provider support
- Volunteer Check-in support
- Way-finding (for attendees)
Event Support: 11AM - 2PM
Tasks may include, but not limited to:
- Greeter/Floater/Runner
- Inventory & Stock room support (organize, sort, display)
- Personal shopper
- Ensure tidiness at Marketplace and/or Wellness Center during event
- Childcare support at the Wellness Center (arts and crafts station)
- Partner/Service Provider support
- Volunteer Check-in support
- Way-finding (for attendees)
Breakdown/Cleanup: 2PM - 5PM
Tasks may include, but not limited to:
- Equipment breakdown (tables, chairs, etc)
- Clean-up duties at the Marketplace and/or Wellness Center
- Trash collection
- Return equipment to designated storage
- Support with space reset to original
