Has earned 51 caps with the Japan Women's National Team. Represented Japan at the 2019 and 2023 FIFA Women's World Cups and the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Won the Golden Ball at both the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup and the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Acquired by Angel City FC via trade from Portland Thorns FC on September 30, 2025. On November 18, 2025, signed a three-year contract extension with Angel City FC, keeping her with the club through the end of the 2029 season. Started each of Angel City's final four matches of the 2025 regular season, playing 90 minutes in all four appearances. Entered the NWSL in 2022 with Portland and helped the club win the 2022 NWSL Championship.
