LOS ANGELES, CA (June 18, 2025) – Three Angel City FC players—goalkeeper Angelina Anderson, forward Alyssa Thompson, and defender Gisele Thompson—have been named to the US Women’s National Team roster for three friendlies to be played during the June FIFA window, the most in club history. Anderson will have the opportunity to earn her first senior cap.
Goalkeeper Hannah Stambaugh and defender Miyabi Moriya were called up for the Japan women's national team for a friendly against Spain on June 27.
The USA will play Ireland twice, first on Thursday, June 26 in Commerce City, Colorado, at 6:00 p.m. Pacific, and again on Sunday, June 29 in Cincinnati at 12:00 p.m. Pacific time. The team will wrap up the break with a game against Canada on Wednesday, July 2 in Washington, DC at 4:30 p.m. Pacific. Full broadcast details are listed below.
Alyssa Thompson has two goals and one assist in 19 caps for the USWNT, including competing at the 2023 World Cup. Gisele Thompson earned her first senior cap at the 2025 SheBelieves Cup, and has made three appearances for the team.
Although Anderson participated in the USWNT training camp in January, she has yet to be named to a gameday roster for the team.
