The two-week September FIFA window wrapped up yesterday, with TK ANGEL CITY PLAYERS seeing the field...

Two Angel City players—forward Alyssa Thompson and defender MA Vignola—got the call from the US for that team's two matches against South Africa, and both saw the field as substitutes in the first game. In the September 21 fixture in Cincinnati, a 3–0 win, Vignola subbed in for Crystal Dunn at the half, while Thompson took the place of Trinity Rodman in the 77th minute.

Forward Scarlett Camberos was featured in both of Mexico's Gold Cup qualifying games. On the 22nd, Camberos played 87 minutes against Puerto Rico, scoring in the 59th minute of the 2–1 win. Against Trinidad and Tobago on the 26th, a game the team won 6–0, the San Diego native played the full 90, assisting María Sánchez in the third minute.

Scotland and forward Claire Emslie saw less success during the break, earning a 1–1 draw against Belgium on September 26 after losing 2–1 to England on the 22nd. Emslie played 83 minutes in the first match, recording an assist to Kirsty Hanson in first-half stoppage. Against Belgium, Emslie again earned the start, subbing out in the 64th minute.

Midfielder Amandine Henry was called in for France after missing the 2023 World Cup due to injury. In a 2–0 win against Portugal on September 22, the veteran defensive mid entered the game in the 63rd minute. Against Austria four days later, a 1–0 win, she got the start and was subbed out in the 76th minute.

Defender Ali Riley and the Football Ferns played Chile twice during the break, losing 3–0 on September 23 and 2–1 on September 26. Riley entered the first match in the 76th minute and started the second, playing 78 minutes.

Finally, forward Jun Endo earned the start and played 70 minutes in a friendly against Argentina on September 22. In the 25th minute, Endo assisted Hana Takahashi, contributing to an 8–0 win by the Nadeshiko. In a match against Nepal for the Asian Games, Endo did not play.
