It's time to redefine the narrative surrounding historically non-inclusive spaces like board rooms, golf courses, and cigar smoke-filled lounges. Rather than celebrate spaces that exclude women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, let's begin to embrace underrepresented groups and create a sense of community where all walks of life are invited to the table to mutually empower one another to reimagine what those clubs and spaces could be.

Re-inc and Klarna, together with Angel City Football Club, are turning that paradigm on its head with their latest apparel collection, the 'New Everyone Club,' whose name is a play on the phrase 'old boys' club.'

With a range of gender-neutral staples, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, and socks, the collaboration envisions a space where everyone is welcome and marginalized people have a spot at the table. “This is about creating a new and inclusive way forward, bucking the old norms, and disrupting the status quo,” said ACFC forward Christen Press. “Angel City and re—inc have such beautiful and diverse communities, and with the ‘New Everyone Club,’ we celebrate what's at our very core: reimagination.”

As an Angel City Founding Partner, Klarna has been breaking new ground in women’s sports with the club since 2021. “This collection is the next step in our partnership with Angel City FC, as we continue to show the world that we are not afraid to push boundaries and challenge the status quo on and off the field,” said Klarna CMO David Sandstrom. Klarna is one of Angel City’s Founding Partners, and their all-in-one shopping platform offers fans an innovative way to shop, pay, and support their favorite teams.

Since its inception, re—inc—founded by Press and fellow pro players Tobin Heath, Megan Rapinoe, and Meghan Klingenberg—has been boldly reimagining the status quo with eco-conscious apparel designed for all gender identities and body types. That’s what makes a collaboration with Angel City, as well as Klarna, so natural.

Core to all three brands is positive social impact. Angel City employs a unique sponsorship model where 10% of each partner’s contribution goes to a community organization. Klarna supports the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC), which serves and empowers women experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless women, through that model. Ten percent of proceeds from the New Everyone Club collection will also go to the DWC, with Klarna making an additional donation matching that amount.

“Through this collaboration, we are proud to provide fans a new way to showcase their fandom with new apparel,” added Sandstrom, “but most importantly, support the Los Angeles community and help empower women through the incredible work that is being led by the Downtown Women's Center.”

Another core value of re—inc is community. The brand has built a global online community of changemakers committed to reinventing old, exclusionary norms. The New Everyone Club collaboration embraces and celebrates marginalized groups, welcoming everyone into a community of mutual empowerment. It re-envisions the traditional trappings of power and influence—from boardrooms to country clubs and beyond—to make them accessible to people from all walks of life.

In addition to being integrated as a payment partner on Angel City’s online shop, Klarna also has an active presence at the club’s home games: at select matches, they roll out the “Smoooth Pink Carpet” entrance, where fans can strut their best gameday looks. Klarna is also the sponsor for Angel City’s training kits. The New Everyone Club launches Friday, September 23 at 9 a.m. PT, exclusively on the Klarna app. After 24 hours, the full collection will be available at www.angelcity.com. It will also be available in limited quantities at Banc of California Stadium ahead of ACFC’s final home game of 2022 on Sunday, September 25.
