Angel City Football Club To Participate In 2027 Coachella Valley Invitational

Largest Preseason Professional Soccer Event Kicks off January 30 at Empire Polo Club in Indio

INDIO (September 30, 2026) – The Coachella Valley Invitational (CVI) powered by Fundamental, returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA, for its sixth consecutive preseason soccer event. From January 30 to February 13, 2027, CVI will host nearly half of National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs, creating the largest preseason gathering in North American professional soccer.

Angel City Football Club will play on the first day of the tournament, Saturday, January 30, 2027, against a to-be-announced NWSL opponent. This is the club’s third consecutive appearance at CVI.

HIGHLIGHTS THIS YEAR

• ALL OF SOCAL: All Southern California-based clubs in both MLS and the NWSL will compete in the desert Angel City FC, San Diego Wave FC, LA Galaxy, LAFC, and San Diego FC.

• MLS-NWSL DOUBLEHEADER: On Saturday, February 6, the 2027 Coachella Valley Invitational will reach another milestone with its first-ever MLS-NWSL matchday, bringing together clubs from both leagues for a unique experience for soccer fans and offering an unprecedented opportunity to celebrate the growth and momentum of the sport across North America's premier professional leagues.

• NEW PRESENTING SPONSOR: This year’s event is powered by Fundamental, an AI company. FOR PASSES

Advance General Admission (GA) Single-Day Passes will start at just $23, while Advance GA Weekend Passes for February 6-7 will start at $51. Advance pricing will be available only until the full match schedule is released, with savings varying by date.

VIP Passes start at $191 and include preferred parking, access to the VIP Pavilion with lounge seating, unlimited food and beverages (including beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic options), VIP restrooms, and shaded bleacher seating.

The LA Galaxy Foundation Golf Tournament will also return to the Coachella Valley on Friday, February 5 at Desert Willow Golf Resort. The event will give fans an opportunity to hit the links alongside LA Galaxy Players, Coaches, and Alumni while enjoying premium giveaways, games, and prizes.
