Angel City Football Club announced a new partnership with Tampon Tribe, a woman-founded provider of certified organic cotton plastic-free menstrual products, as the club’s Non-Exclusive Menstrual Products Partner and a Team Partner. The relationship is designed to support player and fan wellbeing, expand ACFC’s community impact, and introduce Tampon Tribe to one of the most engaged fan communities in sport.

Under the agreement, Tampon Tribe receives Team Partner and Proud Partner designations with non-exclusive rights in the menstrual care category. The partnership includes a broad package of benefits across community impact, performance center integration, game-day presence, on-site activations, and hospitality, connecting Tampon Tribe’s sustainability-focused brand with ACFC’s equity- and impact-driven model.

Through ACFC’s 10 percent community impact model, 10 percent of net proceeds from the partnership will support Girls Play LA GPLA, a City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks program that offers low and no-cost recreational sports at more than 100 sites across the city. This investment will help expand access to sport for girls and gender expansive youth and create co-branded activation moments at GPLA culmination events.

As part of the partnership, Tampon Tribe will:

  • Provide certified organic, plastic-free menstrual products in ACFC’s Performance Center for year-round player and staff use, reinforcing the club’s emphasis on athlete health and high-performance environments.

  • Collaborate each year with ACFC on storytelling and educational content that highlights menstrual health, sustainability, and access to sport.

  • Appear across ACFC’s digital partner platforms, including in stadium LED and IPTV, the club’s partner webpage, and select owned channel campaigns.

  • Activate on-site at designated Fan Fest matches with product education, sampling, and promotional programming that invites fans to learn about sustainable period care.

  • Deploy branded sampling carts or baskets with Tampon Tribe products in four stadium restrooms, increasing free in-venue access to menstrual care for match-going fans.

  • Develop an annual limited edition ACFC x Tampon Tribe merchandise collaboration inspired by Angel City’s brand and community, promoted through club and partner channels.

The partnership brings together Tampon Tribe’s environmental, social, and governance-focused business with ACFC’s 10% community-impact model and purpose-led commercial strategy.

Tampon Tribe was created to close both health and environmental gaps in traditional menstrual care and offers certified organic cotton products that are free from plastic, metals, synthetics, and harmful chemicals, with zero- or low-waste packaging and a plastic-neutral commitment. By embedding Tampon Tribe products into ACFC’s training environment and matchday experience, the partnership helps normalize access to high-quality, sustainable menstrual care in elite sport while giving Tampon Tribe a distinctive platform to reach health and impact-minded consumers.

“Angel City’s commercial strategy centers on partnerships that move the needle for both performance and community,” said Julie Uhrman, Co-Founder and CEO, Angel City Football Club. “Tampon Tribe’s commitment to certified organic, plastic-free products and measurable environmental impact makes them a natural partner as we continue to invest in our players, fans, and the wider Los Angeles community.”

“Partnering with Angel City FC lets Tampon Tribe bring our mission into one of the most exciting spaces in sport,” said Jennifer Eden, Co-Founder and CEO, Tampon Tribe. “This partnership places our products directly into the daily lives of world-class athletes and a devoted fan base while helping to expand access to sport for young people through Girls Play LA.”
