Kibō Nobori at Terasaki Budokan (Children’s Arts & Culture Festival) - May 4, 11:00-4:00 PM PT

Join us for this free, family-friendly event in celebration of the Japanese holiday Kodomo No Hi (Children's Day) and AAPI Heritage Month and to spread hope in our community! Featuring music, dance performances, art installations, children's art & activities, AAPI creative community, snacks and games, and more! Player Jun Endo to make an appearance (subject to change). Taiko Drum Class - May 11, 1:00 PM PT

In celebration of AANHPI month, learn the art of Taiko drumming in a free workshop at Terasaki Budokan in Little Tokyo! The class will be taught by expert taiko drummers Maceo Hernandez and Walter Nishinaka. RSVP is required and class size is capped at 20 participants— RSVP is FULL. Event details here.

AAPI LA brings together nonprofit and for-profit organizations that support or provide services to the AAPI community to address the unique challenges faced by the AAPI community, including the rapid rise of hate crimes, the unprecedented impact of the pandemic on AAPI businesses, inaccessibility to services due to language barriers, and the lack of AAPI inclusion in industries and conversations around equity and diversity.
