5/16/24 - 24 Street Elem Farmers Markets

In partnership with the Garden School Foundation, Angel City FC volunteers pick up fresh produce from a distribution center and deliver that produce to 24th Street Elementary School. At 24th Street Elementary School, community members are able to pick up bags of this fresh produce from the FREE Farmers Market run by the Garden School Foundation and Angel City FC volunteers.

OPPORTUNITY:

• 4 volunteers per date.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:

• Volunteers must drive their vehicles for this volunteer event.
• Age Requirement: 18+

TIME: 7 AM to 9 AM

LOCATIONS & SCHEDULE:

• Stop 1 - 7:00 am - Produce Pit Stop (5600 Rickenbacker Rd Bldg. 2E, Los Angeles, CA 90040) 
• Stop 2 - 8:00 am - 24th Street Elementary School (2055 W 24th St, Los Angeles, CA 90018) 

TASKS: 

• Loading produce into cars. It is recommended that volunteers make space in their vehicles in advance. 
• Drive produce to 24th Street Elementary School.
• Help with distribution to families 24th Street Elementary School.
