Currently on loan to Lille OSC, Amandine Henry signed with Angel City on June 1, 2023, following a transfer to the club from Olympique Lyonnais.

Henry spent a total of 15 years with the decorated  Division 1 Féminine club, from 2007–2016 and again from 2018–2023. She helped OL win 13 league titles, eight Coupe de France championships, and seven UEFA Champions League titles and notched 50 total goals in 219 appearances across both stints with the club.

In 2016 and 2017, Henry played for the Portland Thorns of the NWSL, scoring six goals in 33 matches. She won the 2016 Shield and 2017 NWSL Championship with the Thorns.
Hailing from Lille, France, Henry’s professional career started in 2004 when she joined FCF Hénin-Beaumont at just 15 years old. She would then attend the women’s section of the Clairefontaine Academy for two seasons before joining Lyon in 2007.

Henry has been a member of the France Women’s National Team since 2009, compiling 13 goals in 93 total caps. She helped lead the roster to a 2017 SheBelieves Cup title and  made two FIFA World Cup appearances, in 2015 and 2019. In the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, she won the Silver Ball and was named to the tournament’s all-star team. In 2015, she was a finalist in the annual UEFA Best Women's Player in Europe Award.
