In celebration of the release of ACFC Founding Investor Billie Jean King’s new autobiography, All In, we’ve rounded up five bookstores in Los Angeles for you to visit today!

Angel City’s Friday Five series is presented by DoorDash.

The Salt Eaters Bookshop is an emerging independent bookstore coming to the Inglewood community. Founded by Asha Grant, the Inglewood-native has plenty of plans for the space, including a printing press for creatives and designated workspaces for Black students and writers. As Grant works to formally open her doors, she expects to have an online shop available in the fall. In the meantime, she is focused on creating a Black feminist literary hub that holds Black women, girls, femmes, and non-binary people at the center.
