Mia Hamm is one of the most prolific American soccer players of all time. Hamm held the record for most international goals scored - by a man or woman - until 2013. She was named FIFA World Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup Champion. Hamm also won four consecutive NCAA Division I national championships with the North Carolina Tar Heels. She is the founder of the Mia Hamm Foundation and a co-owner of MLS club LAFC. She lives in Manhattan Beach with her family.
