Angela is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist for U.S. Soccer, two-time World Cup Bronze Medalist, former professional soccer player of the Boston Breakers and the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s 2009 Humanitarian of the Year.
Angela is a speaker, entrepreneur and businesswoman who has founded multiple businesses with a focus on helping athletes transition from playing to their professional off-the-field career. Currently Angela has a real estate business and works out of the Beverly Hills office center at Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties.
Angela also works in the sports and entertainment industry as a soccer analyst and sports commentator, calling LAFC games as well as ESPN, NBC Olympics, and FOX Soccer for Women’s World Cup.
Along with sports dietitian and former LA Clippers team nutritionist, Meg Mangano, Angela and Meg created an online sports nutrition and sports leadership program, Fueling Dynamic Leaders.
With a passion for helping others achieve their goals and dreams and over 30 years of experience in sports, she founded the Empowerment Through Sport Leadership Series in 2012, a conference event focused on discovering sports leadership and life skills for young female athletes.
Angela served as a Trustee for the U.S. Soccer Federation Board, was a U.S. Soccer Athlete Council Vice-Chair, and served a term as the Women’s Sports Foundation President an organization founded by the great Billie Jean King. She currently sits on the Board of Visitors at the University of Virginia, her alma mater. Angela lives in Playa del Rey, California with her wife Meg, and their two children, Huntley and Avyanna.
