LOS ANGELES (Sept. 10, 2026) – Angel City Football Club (ACFC) announced today that the club has extended midfielder Jennie Immethun’s contract through the end of the 2026 season.
Immethun initially joined Angel City on July 31 through a trade agreement with Portland Thorns and signed a short-term roster relief contract through September 6. She made her ACFC debut on Monday, August 31, in the club’s 5–2 road victory over Boston Legacy FC.
“I’m really excited to extend my time with the club through the end of 2026,” said Immethun. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue growing as a player and keep working toward the goals this club has set. I’m also looking forward to staying with this group and continue making memories with everyone.”

Immethun began her professional career with Portland, initially joining the club as a non-roster invitee during the 2026 preseason before earning her first professional contract. She made her NWSL debut on May 20, 2026, in a 2-0 victory over Bay FC and went on to make four regular-season appearances for Portland before joining Angel City.
Prior to beginning her professional career, Immethun played at UCLA, TCU, and Loyola Marymount. During the 2025 season at UCLA, she started all 21 matches and led the Bruins with 1,892 minutes played. Before transferring to UCLA, Immethun spent two seasons at TCU, where she appeared in 37 matches with 30 starts, leading to a win in the 2024 Big 12 Championship. She began her collegiate career at Loyola Marymount in 2022, appearing in all 17 matches and making 15 starts as a freshman.
Immethun has also represented the U.S. Youth National Team program, attending a U.S. Youth National Team Camp in 2020 and a U.S. Soccer Virtual ID Camp in 2021.
